Common register portal of the German federal states

The federal states have created a common register portal. It provides access to the trade, cooperative and partnership registers as well as to some registers of associations in all states for online information.

A search function makes it easy to find all businesses registered in Germany, even where the register number and location of the firms are unknown. All you need as a search term is a part of the business name. The contents of the register are made available in different formats as pdf-documents that can be saved and printed out.
